Over the last three decades, we have grown our expertise and competence in the core Electrical and Electronics Engineering curriculum and research. We have a strong undergraduate program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, we offer M.E. (Power Systems and Power Electronics) degree. The sanctioned students’ strengths of B. E., and M. E. are respectively 120, and 18 per year. At present, the department has 33 Ph.D. scholars. Our department maintains dynamic research groups for carrying out collaborative and interdisciplinary research. We have state-of-the-art research facilities to support our academic programs and research. Undergraduate students are encouraged to participate in various research projects.

Several prestigious awards have been conferred on our faculty members at national and international levels for both teaching and research. Faculty members in our department have excellent academic credentials and are highly regarded. The faculty also regularly reviews technical articles for journals, organizes international symposia and conferences, and serves on the editorial boards of national and international journals.

Our department offers a science-based engineering curriculum. We aim to impart technical knowledge, promote problem-solving skills, and introduce students to new technologies through our curriculum. For students to pursue their interests, the department offers a wide range of elective courses. To introduce new scientific and technological developments, the course content is periodically updated.
