The Department of Computer Engineering and Technology (CET) has started its UG program B.E.-CSE(IoT with Cyber Security Including Blockchain Technology) in the academic year 2020-21 with an intake capacity of 60 seats. The intellectual ambiance in CET Department is conducive to the holistic development of the students. The Department has committed well qualified and professionally active staff. Faculty members are pursuing their doctoral studies in emerging areas like IoT, Cyber Security, Data Science, Data Mining, and Blockchain, Cloud Computing etc.
The Department actively hosts several workshops and training programmes in the emerging domains in collaboration with professional bodies. The Department encourages use of open-source softwares and has technical clubs exclusively to encourage both students and staff to work in the areas of cyber security, blockchain and IoT. Top companies that visit the campus to recruit our students include Microsoft, JP Morgan, Accolite, NCR, Oracle, SalesForce, etc., offering attractive salaries. The number of students who are doing internships is gradually increasing every year. Students received internships at Qualcomm, Oracle, JPMorgan Chase, and institutions like IISc and IITs, with attractive stipends.
