Program Educational Objectives of B.E(ECE) Programme

PEO1: Engage successfully in professional career and/or pursue higher education in Electronics and Communication and allied areas.

PEO2: Pursue research, design and development of state-of-the art systems applying the knowledge of Electronics and Communication engineering

PEO3: Begin start-ups and involve in entrepreneurship activities by adopting changing professional and societal needs.

PEO4: Exhibit professional ethics and values with lifelong learning and work effectively as individuals/team members in multidisciplinary projects.

Program Specific Outcomes of B.E (ECE) Programme

PSO1: Ability to apply the acquired knowledge of core subjects in design and development of Communications/Signal processing/ VLSI/ Embedded systems.

PSO2: Analyze and solve the complex Electronics and Communication engineering problems using state-of-art hardware and software tools

PSO3: Develop innovative technologies for Entrepreneurship based on the research outcomes of Electronics and Communication engineering.

Program Outcomes of B.E(ECE) Programme

Engineering graduate will be able to:

  • Engineering Knowledge Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization for the solution of complex engineering problems
  • Problem analysis Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyse complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  • Design/development of solutions Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet t h e specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, and cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
  • Conduct investigations of complex problems Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
  • Modern tool usage Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools, including prediction and modelling to complex engineering activities, with an understanding of the limitations.
  • The engineer and society Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal, and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
  • Environment and sustainability Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
  • Ethics Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
  • Individual and team work Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
  • Communication Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with the society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.
  • Project management and finance Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.

PEO1: Graduates will Design & Develop Communication Systems either independently or in a group

PEO2: Graduates will able to learn and adopt the emerging technologies in the area of Communication Engineering

PEO4: Graduates will Develop rational approach to solve real world problems with Self-confidence and ethical & Societal Responsibilities

Program Outcomes of M.E (Communication Engineering) Programme

PO1:  An ability to independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems

PO2: An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document

PO3: Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program

PO4: Students will be able to use modern engineering tools/software to design and develop advanced communication systems

PO5:  Students will be able to develop self-confidence, team work, skills for lifelong learning and committed to social responsibilities

Program Educational Objectives of M.E (Embedded Systems and VLSI Design ) Programme

PEO1: Graduates will apply engineering expertise to solve real world problems in the areas of Embedded Systems and VLSI Design

PEO2: Graduates will have the ability to adopt latest technologies

PEO3: Graduates will be able to carry out research in the fields of Micro Electronics and Embedded Systems

PEO4: Graduates will develop professional ethics, effective communication skills, self-confidence and societal responsibilities
