SYNAPSE 2k18 is giving you an opportunity to share your ideas, showcase your presentation skills and to improve them by taking part in the event *PAPER PRESENTATIONS.* Fields of interest:

The academic poter is a summary of your research of your research, scholary or creative project in a visually engaged way. It must be academically sound, highlighting the graphs, charts, photography etc
The Makers of India is one of the prestigious clubs of CBIT which here goes with a tagline Learn, Innovate, Make. This is a club in which the creator, the learner and the developer meet and exhibit their ideas and present. The main motive of this club is to provide its members a practical experience of all the basic electronic components so that they come up with their innovative ideas and present them on an appropriate platform. Makers of India is here to organise a show casing of many projects done using Arduino,an open source platform. The club exhibited many projects which are presented in various expos. This time, many more projects are being presented. We welcome participation of projects by individuals/ groups from other educational institutions as well.The Project Expo is held both the days of the fest. Round 1:10 questions based on basic digital electronics will be given in fill in the blanks format for 4 participants. Top two performers will play the next round
Round 2:The two participants will be given a logic circuit with toggle inputs and an LED at the output. The circuit consists of gates like AND,OR ,XOR,NOT. The first participant to make the LED glow will be the winner
Round 1: Six teams will be participating in this round and two per team.One among the team members will be blind folded .Alphabets are spread around the floor and we will be displaying words on the board. The other participant should guide him to collect the alphabets required to frame the word.The top four teams which manage to frame the maximum possible words in minimum time will go to second round.
Round 2: The words framed in the previous round will mean technical things with which they have to take selfies.The two teams which manage to take selfies in minimum time will go to third round.
Round 3: Color coding or a small circuit connection.Manual will be provided to decode the colour codes.
The event is just like Snake and Ladder game instead of simply throwing dice participant need to answer or solve the question chosen from given set of questions. Here the answer will be in single digit from 1 to 6, depending on the answer he\she has to take the move. Each team should have two (2) members.
In a team of 2, each player should hit the plastic glasses with a ball which are placed on table with tech questions inside. Two chances will be given to both of them,if they miss both,they will be out of the game. If they hit the glasses, player has to select of their respective glasses and should explain the question in it to other player without words(enact). Two questions which are enacted by both the players to one another,must be answered correctly.
Electronics matching:- One should correctly match five questions in given time.
Round2 Electro fire:-Participants will be asked questions based on the electronic topic they picked from chits.
Round3: Hardware implementation:-Participants should implement given circuit or logic .The two people who finishes the design will be given a certificate and cash prize. Participants are shown an already assembled circuit and he or she is expected to reproduce the same on the bread board provided and should generate the desired output. Judging criteria- Filtering will be done based on timing. Participants who complete the task faster will be selected for level 2.
Participants are given a circuit and a bunch of components.The participants have to choose appropriate components such that the effective resistance across the given two terminals is 1 ohm. Judging criteria- Participants who complete faster will be selected as winners.
A board which contains 25 switches(5 rows,5 columns) and 5 bulbs arranges in a sequential manner is provided to the student,who's task is to make the bulb glow.
The student will be provided a lottery chance to choose the path.
The clues related to the path chosen are given to the student.
The student has to use the clues given in order to glow the bulb.
The team which completes the task in least-time will be awarded.
A team of two players can begin the robot-1 from the starting point and has to go through the maze. After a shot interval(depends how hard is the maze) robot- 2 will start from starting point, controlled by event members . Before the robot-1 reaches the end point,If the robot-2 tries to touch or come relatively close to robot-1, team will be disqualified. If the team undergoes any collisions with the track (upto 4 collisions), team will be disqualified.
If the quiz shows are your genre and rapid fire rushes your adrenaline then you must give this event a try. Test your presence of mind when the clock ticks.
Screening test with basic technical questions will be conducted at the respective colleges.
